I’m truly saddened by the news of Dan Kirby we first met in compact’s and dan picked me to be the one to beat.
We had some great clean racing.
He asked me recently to build a BTCC team with him and also asked me to be his engineer in TCR UK but I declined as racing in the uk was affecting my mental health.
He told me it wasn’t that bad but I told him it wasn’t for me.
Rest in peace Dan I’m sorry you couldn’t see another way out.
My heart goes out to his family and friends at this difficult time RIP Dan.

Having heard about the sudden passing of Dan Kirby is still very much a shock to the system for us all. A great guy and wonderful character who will be sadly missed.
This was one of the moments I was there, when Jake Hill got TPC Racing’s first bit of silverware at Brands Hatch back at the first BTCC round of 2019. Even was able to chat with him for the first time in a while, when I was at TCR UK Croft earlier on this year.
My condolences and thoughts go out to his wife, family, friends and colleagues.
