Obituary

We were very sorry to hear the very sad news that David Sansum passed away on Sunday. David was a well-known face in the city, he had a wonderful and caring character and will be missed by many people. Funeral details have yet to be confirmed. David’s family has asked that his biker friends attend with their bikes as he would be so proud.

For those of you who regularly attend TITG you would see David going around the site in his electric wheelchair, TITG was the highlight of his year and he had a passion for all bikes but especially Harley Davidsons, his dream was to do Route 66, although he didn’t have a bike he had the heart, soul, and passion of a biker. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him. Thinking of his family at this very sad time. RIP David

David L Sansum raised awareness for Mental Health (PTSD) in February. He Posted

I’m not sure if I have 4, but here goes nothing. Because this means a lot to me personally; I’m going to make a bet, that out of my friends, less than 4 will take the time to put this on their wall to help raise awareness of Mental Health (PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health diagnoses) difficulties.

Oh no this is very sad to hear. Visited him and his sweet cat last week. He adored her. He was always pleased to have a chat and never appeared sorry for himself despite his difficulties. Rest in Peace David, it was a pleasure to have known you x

It’s very sad to hear this. Very recently my friend and I bumped into David and we quickly reminisced about our college days and art. He was upbeat and irreverent and happy to get back to “normal” after the wintery weather. He will be missed.
