Alexei Bakharev Cause of death
Shakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin posted about it on his Facebook page.
“Alexei Bakharev, an ex-Shakhtar midfielder, died today, March 18… Alexei was one of the most skilled and bright players of Shakhtar’s great generation in the early 2000s, and his name will be etched in the Club’s history forever. “My heartfelt condolences to Palkin’s family and friends,” he wrote.
Datunashvili, the 1966 USSR Football Championship’s top scorer, has died.
Who was Alexei Bakharev
Alexei Bakharev, an ex-Shakhtar midfielder from 1999 to 2004, the midfielder played for the Donetsk membership, appearing in 177 games, scoring 13 goals, winning the Ukrainian championship twice and the Ukrainian Cup three times.
Aleksey Bakharev was born in Russia and played one match for this staff before obtaining a Ukrainian passport and playing one match in a blue and yellow T-shirt.
He worked as a children’s coach at the Shakhtar Academy for over ten years after finishing his career.

Death Cause
How did Alexei Bakharev Die: Bakharev also played for Neftyanik (Pokhvistnevo), Lada, Rotor, Rubin, Nosta, and Mashuk in Russia.
He also appeared in a friendly match for the Russian national team (against the Brazilians in 1998) and the Ukrainian national team (against Iran in 2002). Bakharev retired in 2009 and went on to work as a coach in the Shakhtar system.
