Fort Wayne shooting:
On Sunday, the shooting took place just before 5 a.m. An officer from the Fort Wayne Police Department reported hearing gunfire close to the 2000 block of Greentree Court.
Police claimed they initiated a traffic stop after spotting a car departing the area. At the corner of Hanna and East Brackenridge Streets, they discovered a man with a gunshot wound inside the car, according to Fort Wayne dispatch.
According to authorities, there may have been more victims of gunshot wounds as a result of additional reports of rounds being fired in the neighborhood. A man and woman were discovered injured by police back at the 2000 block of Greentree Court.
All three victims were taken by medics to hospitals. The hospital declared the woman deceased. Life-threatening injuries were sustained by the two implicated males.
Mattie Wilson dead:
According to the police, a shooting occurred in Fort Wayne early on Sunday that left one woman dead and two men hurt. But the names of the woman and the two injured males have not been released by the investigators.
However, friends of Mattie Wilson have started leaving condolence messages on her Facebook page.
Her friend Jai Den wrote: “My sweet Mattie, I’m so sorry precious… be the sweet angel in heaven that you were on earth. 
“
