A 29-year-old Chicago resident named Vante rusty passed away from gunshot wounds he suffered at an Englewood gas station. Detectives from Area One are looking into the shooting at the Chicago gas station. Keep reading to know more about Chicago gas station shooting in detail.


Chicago gas station shooting:

At an Englewood gas station early on Friday, a man was shot and killed.

Just before 2 a.m., the 29-year-old was at a gas station in the 200 block of West 63rd Street when a man approached him and opened fire, according to Chicago police.

Police said that the man was shot in the chest and transferred to University of Chicago Medical Centre, where doctors declared him dead.

Police did not formally disclose the victim’s identification. Through a Facebook post by his close friend and her mother, we learned that the victim was a 29-year-old Chicagoan named Vante Rusty.

Lee Nardia’s mother expressed in a post how much her daughter Nardia was devastated by his passing and how much he meant to her by loving her.

Vante Rusty worked at True Religion Brand Jeans. He attended Paul Robeson High School and Kennedy-King College for his studies.

There were no recorded arrests. Detectives from Area One are investigating into it.
