Big Wy, a rapper from Inglewood, California has passed away suddenly. He was a member of the rap groups The Relativez and Young Soldierz.
Big Wy died as a result of an unidentified medical condition that kept him in the hospital for the previous few weeks, according to reports.

Who was Big Wy?
Rapper Wytony Dillon, better known by his stage name Big Wy, was born in Inglewood, California, on December 30, 1973.
As a member of Bloods & Crips, Wy (then known as Red Rag) made his musical debut in 1993 with the release of the album Bangin’ on Wax.
He founded the band Young Soldierz while he was still a member, and the group’s 1994 self-titled album was their first commercial success.
Wy later joined the Bloods-formed Damu Ridas, and the two of them collaborated on the 1999 album How Deep Is Your Hood.
Big Wy and Suga Buga, a former member of the Young Soldierz, created the duo The Relativez following the disintegration of the Bloods & Crips and its associated ventures. Three albums by The Relativez were released between 2000 and 2007.
Big Wy rose to notoriety after creating the group Cali Swag District in 2010, which earned international success with their hit “Teach Me How to Dougie” the same year.

Skipp Townsend also reported this sad news saying, “Big Wy, Skipp Townsend and Squeak Ru.. Rest well, my “Young Soldier.” An intelligent and very talented brother. He was a comedian with jokes that could last all day.. He changed the culture with his music, and his voice stays with us forever..”
