StarNews made several phone calls to Haesoo in the early morning hours of May 13 KST, but all that could be heard were dial tones, and neither the singer nor anyone else picked up.

Since HAESOO’s Instagram comments are temporarily disabled, admirers have nowhere to express their sorrow at the musician’s passing.

Days before she was scheduled to perform at an event in Wanju Gun, South Korea, Haesoo went to extreme lengths. At the age of 29, South Korean trot artist Haesoo passed away in her heavenly home.

She left a note at the spot where she died after committing suicide. She was reportedly discovered dead at her lodging on May 13, just days before she was scheduled to appear on stage at the Gwanjumyeon People’s Day celebration in Wanju Gun, Jeollabuk-do on May 20.

On May 15, the event’s organizer informed a South Korean media outlet about her absences due to her untimely demise. The entertainment portal also states that Haesoo was discovered deceased by cops.

They assumed that the singer opted to take the drastic step and didn’t suspect any foul play after finding the suicide note. To prevent frenzy, the administration had decided not to expose the singer’s identity to the general public.

Who was Trot singer Haesoo?

HAESOO, a rising star in the Trot music industry who made her debut in 2019, was born in December 1993 and is known for her distinctive vocals.

Her debut single album, ‘My Life, I Will’ helped her get followers. According to sources, she was growing in popularity among trot listeners as a result of her appearances on The Trot Show, AM Plaza, and Gayo Stage.

According to the information available, Haesoo studied traditional Korean music in college and sang using pansori, a style of Korean narrative singing, before starting her career as a trot singer. She has participated in both music broadcasts and entertainment programs.
