The 12-year-old belonged to the 2029 graduating class. Sebastian’s untimely death has left our community inconsolable, Hardiman added. According to him, there will be drop-in sessions for parents and counselors will be on hand at the school all day to support students and employees.
According to Hardiman, St. John’s will organize a prayer service for the students and faculty at 5 o’clock. Sebastian began attending the school in September with the 100-student sixth-grade class, according to Hardiman.

Jim Greer lives in the neighborhood. He said he did not know the family, but walks his dogs by the home every day. “Very, very concerning,” Greer said, adding that it was reassuring knowing police said there is no threat to the public. “Andover has been a pretty safe community. I’ve been living here for 40 years or so. Stuff like this happens everywhere. No area is going to be untouched, unfortunately, from gun violence.”
