Who is Jerimiah Walker?

Jerimiah Walker is a 19-year-old suspect, who is wanted in the Motel 6 triple homicide shooting. Arrest warrants have been issued for Walker in relation to the murder and shooting of Michael Carter, Sr., Michael Carter, Jr., and Tonya Carter.

He is sought after on three murder charges and two aggravated assault counts.

Motel 6 triple homicide: Explained:

Officers responded to Motel 6 in the 3000 block of Victory Drive to investigate four people being shot on the evening of February 18, 2023.

Upon arrival, police discovered Michael Carter, Sr., and Michael Carter, Jr. were discovered deceased from gunshot wounds inside a hotel room.

Tonya Carter and a child were taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional in serious condition, but on March 4, Tonya Carter tragically passed away from her wounds.

A 4-year-old child who was injured in the shooting last month has now been released from the hospital.

The Columbus Police Department is asking for public assistance in finding the dangerous suspect, Jerimiah Walker.

Arrest warrants have been made for Walker, who has been identified as the case’s suspect.
