How did Davido Lose his Son, Ifeanyi?
Local media sites indicate that on November 1, 2022, young Ifeanyi tragically perished after drowning at his home on Banana Island. Several staff members were present at the home, although Davido and his fiancee Chioma Rowland were out at the time.
Ifeanyi, who was born in 2019, was reportedly underwater before being discovered by the on-site cleaning crew. According to the Lagos State Police Command, eight employees have been taken in for interrogation about the child’s death.
“Anyone who is discovered to be responsible, after they have all given their accounts of what happened and preliminary investigations, will immediately be placed under arrest.” On October 20, a few days after turning three, Ifeanyi passed away.

On Ifeanyi’s passing, the family has not yet made any remarks.

Popular Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji reported a ‘distraught and inconsolable’ Davido was removed from the hospital and taken to his father’s house.
