Around 6 o’clock, according to Cruz, emergency personnel discovered a woman who looked to have attempted suicide by jumping out a window of the house.

Officers said that when they entered, they discovered two kids—a 3-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl—who were both unconscious and clearly traumatized.
The kids were rushed to the hospital, where they were declared dead. In addition, an 8-month-old boy was hospitalized.

Just before 6:15 p.m., a male resident of a Summer Street house dialed 911. A woman had attempted suicide, he claimed.
The woman was transferred to a hospital, where Tuesday night, she was still receiving care. When asked whether the woman was a suspect, Cruz said, “I’m not going to label anybody anything at this time.”

According to Cruz, the three kids were discovered by the police “unconscious with obvious signs of trauma.” There is no public threat, according to the authorities.
Police are still looking into this matter. None of those involved have been made publically known. The authorities are attempting to notify family members.
The cause and manner of the children’s deaths will be determined by the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, according to Cruz.
