SABC News Free State announced this sad news on its social media page. The statement reads,
“The SABC’s Free State Provincial Editor Teboho Letshaba has passed away after a short illness. The 40-year-old has been within the ranks of the SABC since 2008, starting as a Reporter at the Bloemfontein office, he went on to become an Assignment Editor and then later a Programme Manager at Motsweding FM.
Letshaba was a sports enthusiast, Sesotho author, and legal graduate. He passed away while busy with his Ph.D. Originally from Viljoenskroon, Letshaba led SABC’s Free State news and current affairs division with distinction and passion. The details of his memorial service and funeral are yet to be announced..”
Who was Teboho Letshaba?
Teboho was a SABC’s Free State Provincial Editor and he was a former Assignment Editor. He also worked as a Programme Manager at Motsweding FM.
Teboho was from Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. He was a sports enthusiast, a Sesotho author, and a legal graduate. Mr. Letshaba was also a prolific author of Sesotho books for radio and television.

Teboho died after a short illness on Tuesday. He died from an undisclosed illness. Ikeledi Mathabo Letsiri shared a tribute to the reporter, saying,
“How do u even start to say Rest in peace when ur heart don’t believe u are no more. Bohloko bo bokana Modimo. Losing a colleague ekare losing a sibling. RIP. Monghadi Teboho Letshaba”
