The corpse of the missing young woman, Sarah Weatherstone from Melbourne was located near Narre Warren in the city’s southeast, according to a statement from Victoria Police. Her death isn’t being treated as suspicious.
Although the deceased has not yet been officially identified, it is thought she was a missing Wantirna woman, named Sarah Weatherstone, 28.

Sarah, a native of Wantirna in the east of the city, disappeared on March 23 at around 4.30 p.m. after leaving a factory on Vespa Drive in Narre Warren.
On April 13, she was scheduled to celebrate her 28th birthday with close friends and family before leaving on a holiday to Queensland with her family.
Sarah had suffered from Borderline Personality Disorder. After she was reported missing, Victoria Police searched the Hallam Valley Wetlands for three days.
The Air Wing, Search and Rescue, SES, police drones, and the Mounted Branch all contributed to the success of the search. According to Senior Constable Adam Read, no items belonging to Sarah were discovered during the search.
Officers were specifically searching for Sarah’s phone, which last pinged on March 24 and prompted them to search extensively through wetlands.

In a social media post, Sarah’s mother Judith stated that the family learned of her passing on Friday.
‘It’s with a heavy heart that Stephen, Josh, and myself would like to let everybody know that today we have been told of the passing of our beautiful daughter Sarah to accidental suicide,’ she wrote.
“Thanks for the support and love over the past five weeks,” she said.
“Rest in peace beautiful, forever in our hearts.”
The BPD Foundation Ltd. has organized the fundraising campaign on behalf of Judith, Sarah’s mother.
Judith’s message to you, ‘If you’re visiting this site you will know that my beautiful daughter, Sarah, has died by suicide. Sarah had been diagnosed with a complex mental illness known as borderline personality disorder and struggled for many years with the oft-debilitating symptoms.’
‘Instead of flowers, I am requesting donations to the Australian BPD Foundation which works tirelessly to raise awareness of BPD, and help destigmatize personality disorders so that people can access the treatment and supports the need.’
About 2-6% of Australian adults are thought to be affected by BPD, a mental health illness that is often misunderstood. Emotional dysregulation, which has the potential to have a negative consequence, is a defining feature of BPD, that affects the person’s life.
