What happened to Robert Parker?

Unexpectedly, a well-liked racer with the renowned Mud Racing “Team Momentum Racing” passed away. On Wednesday, May 15, 2023, Robert Parker, a longtime resident of Benson, North Carolina, passed away.

The adored father and husband reportedly succumbed to an undetected short illness before being declared deceased, according to reports. We send our sincere sympathies to the Parker family, friends, and Team Momentum Racing.

Several ATV & SXS enthusiasts were inspired by Robert Parker. May his memory and inspirations endure. May we unite in prayer for the Mud Family.” Robert Parker’s Obituary and Funeral Arrangements will be Released by the Family.

Team 904, mourning the tragic loss of the legend wrote;

A call came today that you never want to get. Today we lost a friend and a brother to Team 904. Robert Parker was family to us, And we are deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Words cannot express just how badly he will be missed. Robert was one of a kind person. He was light in this world. A man who would not only give you the shirt off his back but the shoes off his feet too! Please pray for the Parker family and the Fulcher family! We would surely appreciate it! They are family to us and they need all the prayers right now! And to Robert… until we meet again brother.

The legendary racer’s family withheld the precise reason for death until later. We only know that Robert Parker passed quite suddenly after a brief illness.

The Mud Racing community will undoubtedly feel Park Robert’s passing. He was a remarkable man, and his family, friends, and teammates at Team Momentum Racing will no doubt miss him.

“If you met him, you’d understand what I mean. He was one world-class guy. One of the greatest athletes, role models, and individuals to ever walk the face of the planet! Without this person, the world would be a worse place, and we would really miss him.

Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to the Parker family, friends, and Team Momentum Racing Robert Parker, you inspired countless people in the offroad world.

You helped shape this industry and may your legacy live on…. You were an amazing father, husband, role model and so much more. It hurts us to see you gone but God has you now. Save us a seat up there…..

Robert Parker was a good father, a great teammate, and an icon to so many that knew him. Brian Fulcher wrote; “My hero my brother I’m lost without u I will always love u you changed my life, Robert Parker.

I thank god every day for him putting u n my life and I am forever grateful that you touched so many others’ lives and kids’ lives and the mud world.” Parker was also described as an inspiration to many in the mud racing world.

Robert Parker: Who was he?

The “RACER” Mr. Robert Parker is probably the world’s most diverse racer to date! He does it all from dirt drag strips, short courses, bounty holes, and so on…… Prolly is one of our more technical types of racers but his love and passion for this sport are like no other.

Leading the points of this series for over 3/4 of this season on the bike they call “BeetleJuice” Robert is currently 2nd in points and represents Team Momentum Racing!

On his Can-Am ATVs prepared by Team Momentum Racing, Robert Parker won two class championships. The Outlander ATV racer took first place in the Super Modified (Open) class after starting the year with four straight victories, two podium finishes, and 820 total points.

Parker also won the Pro B class on his TMR Outlander MAX with five victories. Seth Russell of Renegade Racing (Super Modified) and Casey McGinnis on his 2014 Outlander X mr 1000 finished second in those divisions.

Rest Easy Robert Parker, the baddest man there will ever be in bounty racing. Always a class act at every race and it was always a blast watching him and Nathan race. The boys never failed to put on a hell of a show and showed a father/son bond like no other! Prayers for the Parkers.
