Banks from this list are selected based on ties to the Russian state. State banks have long been under sanctions. Sberbank and Gazprombank were not included in the list as they are the main payment channels for Russian oil and gas.

Recall, earlier it was reported that the sanctioned Russian banks will not be able to issue Visa and Mastercard cards.

It is reported by Medico topics with reference to Alexei Navalny’s Twitter.

Alexei Navalny and Mikhail Khodorkovsky called on the Russians to come out to rallies against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. “No one will stop Putin, except us. Every day. Come out to rallies on the main square of the city. You can’t wait any longer. We start today. It’s too late to be afraid!” Alexei Navalny writes on his Twitter.

“If – in order to end the war – we have to fill prisons and paddy wagons with ourselves, we will fill prisons and paddy wagons with ourselves. Everything has a price, and now, in the spring of 2022, we must pay this price. There is no one else. Let’s not “be against the war.” Let’s fight against the war,” Navalny wrote.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky also called for protests against the military actions in Ukraine. “Putin can’t cope. Putin is stuck in Ukraine. To cope, he throws absolutely everything he has there. Police, OMON, SOBR, and so on,” Khodorkovsky wrote on his social networks.

“Every person who now takes to the streets of Russian cities, everyone who goes out to protest – he diverts part of Putin’s forces from the murder of Ukrainian citizens,” Khodorkovsky stressed.
