Amber Alert Issued: What happened to Leon Ramsarran?
Authorities issued an Amber Alert for little Leon Ramsarran on Friday afternoon after he disappeared from his home in Lakeville, Minnesota, about 30 miles south of St. Paul.
Details regarding where the child was found were not immediately released by authorities. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension first reported little Leon was abducted.
The BCA said the boy’s father reported him missing at around 9.30 am on Friday. Lakeville police believe the boy was with a family member and may “not be receiving adequate care.”

However, authorities did not establish a location for the family member. The alert was canceled about two hours after it was issued.
At the time of his disappearance, police described Leon as three feet tall, between 35 and 40 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
Police say the boy was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black long-sleeve shirt with three black buttons, a dark gray or black jacket with tan fur on the food, and tan and black boots.

The dad reported the child missing. Police have reason to believe the child may be with another family member who they’ve been unable to contact.

I think the Amber Alert is an amazing tool to have but I thought in order to issue one they need to know who took them and what type of vehicle. Did it change? It would be nice if it did so more kids qualify for it. Just curious.
