Chelsea Woods missing case: Explained
Many months after their niece vanished, the family is still looking for information and making preparations to bring her back. Aunt of the missing woman Renee Hastings wanted to hear her voice and receive some clarification.
A family that hasn’t seen their loved one, 38-year-old Chelsea Woods, in months is overcome with emotion. “That has been one of the most difficult things any of us have ever experienced. Too difficult,” Hastings said.
Chelsea Missing since August
Since August of the previous year, Renee Hastings has been looking for her niece. Hastings said, “We’re all at a loss, the whole family is. Hundreds of first responders gathered on Saturday to assist look for solutions.
“With the help of volunteers from the church, rescue personnel, volunteers who signed up, and deputies, we have anywhere from 125 to 150 people,” said Eric Koonce, sheriff of Van Buren County.
“It was like wow when you pull up and all of these people are here to help, everybody pulling together and you just get overwhelmed,” said Hastings. The search was conducted from 8 a.m. on Saturday until dusk.
All to provide the family with answers. “We don’t give up and we don’t give up hope. Shawnda Stubbs, the Morgan Nick Foundation case manager, stated, “We won’t let up until this is resolved.
Along with the family, the Morgan Nick Foundation managed the search. Morgan, Arkansan- In 1995, when Nick was 6 years old, he was stolen from a baseball field in Alma. Everyone working together, according to Renee Hastings, made her heart happy.
Hastings said, “I can’t thank everyone enough, it has just been fantastic. Chelsea Woods was not contacted by the police on Saturday, and although they are interviewing people, they have no suspicions.
The family stated that this is just the first of many more steps and that any evidence that the crews may have discovered will be given to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
