Earlier, officers from the Herts Police Department had been worried about a missing Puckeridge man’s welfare. Christopher, a 62-year-old man went missing, and police searched for him.
On Wednesday, February 1, just after midnight, he was last spotted in Puckeridge. He was characterized as being white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with curly hair, and a medium body.
According to police, he was last seen sporting a light gray wool sweater, blue jeans, and brown shoes. He might also ride a mountain bike that is black with red writing on it. Police requested the public’s assistance to find him.
Update:
On February 5, 2023, Herts Police made an update saying,
“We can confirm that the body of a man was found near Eastwick Road (A414) shortly after midday on Saturday (4 February)”
“Officers are linking this with the search for 62-year-old Christopher, from Puckeridge, who has been missing since February 1. The death is not currently being treated as suspicious. We ask that his family’s privacy be respected at this difficult time.“, said the statement.

The East of England Ambulance Service and Hertfordshire Police have arrived on the scene in a location close to the Harlow border.
Several emergency vehicles were stopped in a layby next to the A414 dual carriageway near Eastwick just after noon.
In the center field, many uniformed officers were patrolling a closed area closer to Fifth Avenue and near one of the tributaries of the River Stort.
