Mdot EBK, a well-known drill rapper, died in a Bronx Double Shooting incident that happened near Fordham Heights.
NYdrillofficial posted about this sad news, saying, “Bronx drill rapper MDOT EBK reportedly dead after being shot in the leg at around 2AM last night on Morris Ave following the 4TH OF JULY”
NY Police said, an 18-year-old male, named Mdot Ebk and a 19-year-old boy were discovered by the officers with gunshot wounds to the leg and hip, respectively.
The 18-year-old was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where doctors declared him dead, according to the police. The 19-year-old’s condition was listed as stable.

According to the NYPD, there have been at least 10 shootings since midnight in New York City, with at least six of them happening in the Bronx. Two of the eleven victims passed away.
According to the police, a car drew up to the two male victims and started shooting. Police said they responded to a shooting call about 2 a.m. in the Fordham Heights district of The Bronx and found the young 18-year-old rapper with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The 18 year old rapper was later identified as Mdot EBK. Despite being young, Mdot had already made significant progress in the music industry, attracting the attention of both fans and professionals.
There is an ongoing investigation into the rapper’s death, and there is no indication as to why the fatal shooting occurred.
The rapper has received many accolades from Drill rappers and fans. By releasing “Off The Mud” and “The Mud, Part 2” in 2021, Mdot Ebk established a reputation for himself in the Drill scene.
Who is the suspect?
Officers responded and found two victims who had been shot near E 181st St and Morris Ave in the Bronx’s Fordham Heights neighborhood.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams was with detectives in the Bronx inspecting the site where at least one person was slain.
Two people of interest are reportedly in custody and facing charges. According to the police, they are holding two male persons of interest in relation to the incident. Additionally, a firearm was also discovered.
