Following a shooting in Lincoln Heights, three Los Angeles Police Department officers have allegedly been injured.
The officers have all been transported to local hospitals for medical attention. Their present condition is unknown.
According to reports, one of them works for the LAPD Metropolitan Division as a K9 detective.

The suspect, who is sought for an unspecified felony, is still barricaded inside a garage at the house, which is close to LAC+USC Medical Center in the vicinity of Mission Avenue and N. Broadway.
What happened at Lincoln heights?
Police arrived at the the intersection of N. Mission Road and N. Broadway in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood.
According to reports, when police arrived, the suspect fled from them, prompting them to set up a perimeter and request help from a K9 squad.
Two hours later, the suspect started shooting at officers. The incident took place near Prince Street and Broadway, close to the LAC+USC Medical Center.

Who is the suspect?
LAPD has not yet released any information about the suspect. The suspect may have run away, according to accounts, and a search is in progress. The officers’ conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The local people has been urged to lock their doors and remain inside. There were a lot of LAPD officers in the neighborhood, surrounding a house and pointing their guns into the alleyway behind the house.
According to LAPD, a SWAT squad has been dispatched to the scene to aid in the investigation. As the situation worsens, all traffic in the nearby area has been closed down.
