What happened to the missing women?
Josie George, a London-based independent creative director and casting agent, was last seen leaving a party in an Uber on Sunday, December 18.
She was reported missing at that time. Friends and family started to worry more and more about her welfare.
The Met Police has revealed that Josie was discovered dead on Tuesday, December 20, following a search, tonight. Although not suspicious, her death has been described as unexpected.
A Met Police spokesperson said:
“Shortly before 11.30hrs on Tuesday, 20 December police attended a hotel in Tower Bridge Road, SE1, after a woman’s body was found.”
“The death is being treated as unexpected but non-suspicious and is being investigated. Her next of kin have been informed.”
“A report will be prepared for the coroner.”
The next of kin of Josie have been informed of the tragedy, according to the Met Police.

Josie, who also worked as a creative director in the city, has received a flood of tributes as of lately.
A friend, Sly Augustin, wrote on Instagram:
“On Monday 19th December our dear friend Josie George sadly passed away. Naturally her friends and family are devastated and trying to deal with the loss. We respectfully ask that her family and friends are given the space to process her passing at this extremely heart breaking time. Thank you.”
An another friend, Beej, claimed just before she passed away that she had vanished in London after taking an Uber home.
One friend said:
“I don’t have all the words to describe how much light and love Josie George brought into my life, she was always at the heart of everything fun, causing mischief, making shows, sharing adventures. Protector of the clan, it’s hard to imagine a World without Josie in it, making an entrance and filling up the room in a way that only she could. Sending love to her family and all her friends new and old.”
While another wrote:
“Josie will always be remembered for enriching our lives with her good energy, kindness, warmth, compassion, sincerity, exuberance, support, brilliance, spontaneity and boundless enthusiasm. Josie illuminated every room she entered with her positive vibes and it was an absolute privilege to call her a friend.”
