Tyler Roberts was a fixture in the gay adult film industry who appeared in numerous X-rated movies over the years. Toward the end of his life, he went on to create content for himself through platforms like OnlyFans and JustForFans.
Roberts, who made his gay porn debut in 2008, had been vacationing in Palm Springs, Calif., when he began experiencing organ failure, according to Edge Media.

With a target of $30,000, Hazen’s GoFundMe has so far raised more than $12,000. The page is still there, perhaps because Hazen’s family is still paying for his hospital stay’s medical expenses.

In November, his partner, Aaron Thomas, shared on Twitter that Roberts was suffering from organ failure, and was “fighting for his life in the ICU.” A fundraiser for $30,000 was set up for him on GoFundMe.
On Saturday, December 3, Thomas shared an emotional letter via Twitter and revealed that Hazen has unfortunately passed away.

In the letter, Thomas called Hazen “the love of my life” and went into detail about their relationship. He wrote in the tweet:
“I am so heartbroken to share that my love [Tyler Roberts] passed away yesterday. His family and I are grieving as Eric left a huge space behind that can’t easily be fixed. Lead with love and tell everyone you can you love them as if it’s the last. I love you, Bubba. Rest now.”
In a statement on the platform, Thomas said that Roberts had “helped me grow and evolve in ways I didn’t know I was capable of…Thank you for seeing me as I am in full and thank you for letting me love you as you are.”
Thomas added, “I’m so grateful to have known a love like yours.”

The actor’s death comes soon after a previously more hopeful tweet Thomas posted on November 28th, writing, “As we know, Eric is a fighter! To our joy and his care team’s surprise, Eric’s kidneys have begun to work again, coming back from end-stage kidney failure. He still has a long road ahead.”
Thomas added at the time that “[Roberts’s] heart was too big and could no longer support his body,” the tweet went on to say Roberts would need a transplant in the future. Thomas thanked those who had donated to a fundraiser for his partner’s medical bills and those who had checked in on them.
