Jumbo Burrito’s owner began putting the pieces together to create the dream he had imagined. He maintained his focus despite all difficulties and started his Jumbo Burrito in Oak Harbor. Jumbo Burrito in Oak Harbor is co-owned by Loera, his wife Patricia, and their daughter Brenda.

In 2014, the Mexican food truck changed to a sit-down restaurant, and it was an instant hit, exceeding all of the family’s wildest hopes with lines out the door. Jumbo Burrito owner passed away on 17 November 2022. Jumbo Burrito owner’s death was confirmed by his daughter on the social media page and the statement reads,

“Hey everyone, we really appreciate all the support we’re getting from you guys in our hard times. Our DAD, owner of Jumbo Burrito has passed away last night suddenly. You guys know how much my dad LOVED his customers you guys are our family and we would love for you guys to attend the memorial next week.”

The death statement shared on the Jumbo Burrito’s Facebook page reads,

“We’re trying to get everything moving fast we’re still having a little trouble with what to do for catering our minds are just not processing correctly so if you guys have any ideas please reach out. we’d really appreciate you guys coming out to say your goodbyes it’d mean so much to him and our family. We will post later on to update you guys on when and where the memorial will be, we hope you guys will all be there to give him the goodbye he deserves.”
