According to police, the mother of the twin boys left her car running and unlocked while she walked inside a Donatos Pizza on North High Street to place a Door Dash order.

When the mother entered the eatery, Nalah Jackson, 24, was inside. Jackson entered the mother’s car after exiting the restaurant through the side door. She, then drove away with the two infants, according to court documents.

Around 9:45 p.m. on December 19, Kason and Kyair Thomas were kidnapped. AMBER Alert was issued on December 20 at 1:37 a.m.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol issued an AMBER Alert notification for Kason and Kyair about four hours after the boys were kidnapped.

Authorities named Jackson as the lady they believe abducted the children.

Ky’air was discovered unharmed at the Dayton International Airport a few hours later on December 20, 2022.

The police in Columbus alerted the five states that border Ohio to be on the search for Kason and Jackson on December 21. Elaine Bryant, the chief of Columbus police, also mentioned that the FBI was helping with the search.

They also announced that Jackson will be charged with two counts of kidnapping, one for each boy.

Suspect was taken in custody:

The 24-year-old Nalah Jackson was detained and accused of kidnapping the twins.

Detectives got many calls from Indianan reporting seeing Jackson in Indianapolis, according to Deputy Chief Smith Weir.

Although Kason and the stolen car Jackson was driving were not located by authorities, Jackson was discovered “on the streets.”

Baby Kason was found:

On Decemeber 22 at 6 p.m, baby Kason was found. Kason’s family announced that he had been discovered in Indianapolis just hours after Jackson was taken into custody.

Kason was discovered in the vehicle he and his brother were abducted in, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

After one month of their rescue, Kyair Thomas was declared dead in Columbus this weekend, according to Davante Goins, a spokesperson, and advocate for the Thomas family.

Kyair’s mother posted on Instagram that he had a seizure, and according to his Grandmother, baby Kyair choked during feeding and could not be saved. It was unknown what is the exact cause of his death.

Police are now looking into this matter. Kyair Thomas cause of death will be determined only after conducting an autopsy.

  1. This is regarding Brady Hessbrook. You have the wrong information on where he went to college. He went to Wayne State not SVSU OR CMU that was his cousin Logan.
