How did Coco Rasuman die?
Jachob “Coco” Rasuman, the head of an investment company thought to be responsible for a multi-billion dollar pyramiding fraud, passed dead on Sunday in New Bilibid Prison after suffering a heart attack.
“According to the records that are now available, one PDL Jhacob Rasuman passed away yesterday as a result of myocardial infarction. The dead PDL’s remains had already been claimed by his family, according to Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Corrections Gabriel Chaclag, who confirmed this to ABS CBN News via text message. According to Chaclag, his family has already picked up his remains from the facility.
Rasuman, the son of former public works undersecretary Bashir Dimaampo Rasuman, was charged with leading an investment fraud that defrauded hundreds of investors around the nation as well as in Singapore out of more than P247 million. He was arrested in Marawi in 2012 and flown to Manila to face syndicated estafa charges along with 9 others.

Jachob Coco Rasuman was the name of Coco Rasuman. He was a Manila native. Coco’s age and birthdate have not yet been disclosed. He was Bashir Dimaampo Rasuman’s son, a former undersecretary of public works. A multi-billion dollar pyramiding fraud allegedly had Jachob Rasuman as its boss. He was taken into custody on suspicion of fraud and fraud. Sadly, a heart attack in prison claimed his life.
