Lake George lost a legend. Bobby Dick has passed away. What a fun guy. He and the Sundowners opened for the Rolling Stones, The Who, Tina Turner, The Monkees, The Righteous Bros., Dave Clark Five & Hendrix. He teamed up with his talented wife Susie Q to put big smiles on our faces in the Lake George area for years. You couldn’t help but love the guy. In 2015, at The Boathouse Restaurant, he was one of the first musicians to sign the GRIZWOLD musical Family Truckster, pictured here. Honored to have your name riding with me Bobby.

Bobby was the greatest entertainer to ever take the stage in this area. I remember going to the Excelsior House to enjoy many a night dancing to Bobby’s music. We were friends for over half a century. We’ve lost a true legend. Rest In Peace my friend…
Nice article but PLEASE correct it. Bobby signed our station wagon, the Lake George Family Truckster, but was NOT related to us in any way. I don’t know where that information could have come from. We were just a fan. God Bless Bobby & Susie❤️
Well, my wife read the story and didn’t think it read like we were relatives (although it would have been an honor)! I had just wanted to clarify to folks that we weren’t related, but we sure thought the world of Bobby, and Susie too!
