Harry & Megan Netflix series

An extraordinary six-part documentary series called Harry & Meghan examines the couple’s relationship from the beginning of their courtship to the difficulties and scandals that made them feel compelled to leave their full-time jobs at the institution. Watch the Volume 2 trailer below:

Liz Garbus: Two-time Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Director

The movie’s director, the two-time Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Liz Garbus talked about what it was like to approach telling a widely known love tale from a new angle.

Working with Harry and Meghan, who have made themselves vulnerable by revealing their memories and archive, has been a privilege, according to Garbus. “I hope that when Netflix subscribers hit play, they will be receptive to learning about what we’ve presented in this documentary series, regardless of whatever assumptions they may have. Their voyage is a historical event that will be studied for a very long time, and it is an incredible love tale set in a setting with high stakes.

In addition to historians and journalists who examine how the media covered Harry and Meghan’s connection with one other, the royal family, and the general public, the series features interviews with family members and friends who have never before spoken publicly about the couple’s relationship.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex express their gratitude for the opportunity to share their love story with such a prestigious creative team and through Netflix’s extensive worldwide distribution network. “We hope it inspires and aids in the healing of others.”

Harry and Meghan on Netflix: Duke speaks of ‘lies’ in new trailer

In a shocking trailer for a Netflix series, Harry and Meghan launch fresh criticisms of the royal family while claiming to have been the victims of “institutional gaslighting.”

“They were happy to lie to protect my brother, they were never willing, to tell the truth, to protect us,” says Prince Harry in the latest trailer for the Harry and Meghan series on Netflix.

With his wife Meghan Markle being “fed to the wolves,” Prince Harry has alleged that people were “glad to lie” to protect his older brother Prince William but wouldn’t do the same for him.

In yet another promo for his contentious Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, which premieres on Thursday, the Duke of Sussex made the startling assertions.

Meghan is seen addressing the camera in the teaser for the second of the six-part series that leaving the UK allowed them the ability to “build a home they always desired.” The 90-second clip also includes a home video of Lilibet walking, giving us our first look at the young royal standing up.

Why do they have to lie to protect William?

It’s unclear who Harry meant when he said “they” or what he said they had “lied” about. He and Meghan have in the past charged that members of the royal family have leaked information to the media in an effort to harm their reputation.

Harry is heard saying: “I wonder what would’ve happened to us if we hadn’t gotten away when we did” in the 90-second film. Our security was being pulled, Meghan continues. The entire world was aware of our location.

The new video opens with Harry remarking, “I wonder what would have happened to us if we hadn’t gotten out when we did,” as he and Meghan attend their final royal engagement. Meghan continues by saying: “Security was being drawn away from us. Harry continues, “I said we need to get out of here. Everyone in the world knew where we were.”

After saying, “We are on a freedom flight,” the teaser transitions to Harry making a video diary on an aircraft, where he talks about seeing “institutional gaslighting.” “I wasn’t being tossed to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves,” Meghan continues.

After comments from the CEO of Bot Sentinel Christopher Bouzy, a shot of Buckingham Palace is shown before Harry claims:

“They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to protect the truth to protect us.” It does not explain who he is referring to. A montage of candid family snaps and videos is shown with Harry saying: “For us to be able to move to the next chapter, you gotta finish the first chapter. And Meghan adds: “It gave us a chance to create that home that we always wanted.”

The pictures include one of the Sussex family traversing the garden of their Frogmore Cottage residence in England. This picture is thought to have been taken during the Jubilee visit in June. A video of Harry blowing out his birthday candles is also available.

Harry says, “I thought this was a fight worth fighting for,” at the end of the trailer. It follows the declaration by palace insiders that they would not address any allegations made in Harry and Meghan’s “circus”-like Netflix series.

According to insiders, King Charles and King William won’t fight “tit-for-tat” and instead maintain “a dignified silence.” The Duke and Duchess of Sussex criticized the Firm’s treatment of them in the first three episodes on Thursday.

Meghan characterized William and Kate as emotionless after giving them hugs during their first encounter, while Harry implied that there was an “unconscious bias” of racism at the institution’s core.

Harry further asserted that the royals questioned why Meghan needed to be “protected” from media speculation and that he was informed that all royal women, including Princess Diana and Kate, experience this.

Meghan further said that because she didn’t know what a walkabout was and dressed subduedly to fit in, she was unprepared for royal life.

“There is unquestionably nothing worth discussing in the first part, and there is nothing novel for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to speak publicly about their experience as members of the royal family.

The focus of the day is fully on finishing the work, thus a respectful silence is a rule. Royal sources were reportedly taken aback by the way Harry, 38, sat looking extremely humiliated next to his wife as she acrobatically acted out the scenario of her first-ever curtsy in front of the late Queen.
