What happened in Gallup?
Around 9:30 p.m., the organisation tweeted that it was looking into a parade incident involving “several pedestrians.”

Ceremonial parade Tragedy
A car apparently drove through the Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonial march on Thursday night, injuring several persons including two Gallup police officers.
Lt. Mark Soriano of the New Mexico State Police said there were no fatalities but was unable to say how severe the injuries were. He claimed that medical care was being provided on-site.
Police tweeted that a driver had been taken into custody.
What did the social media videos show?
Social media videos showed a dark SUV being driven down the street as participants in the march dispersed. A different video showed bystanders and police officers approaching the SUV that had wrecked and removing at least one man.
Who investigated the incident?
A wrong-way driver followed the Intertribal Ceremonial parade route through Gallup.
The incident is being investigated by the New Mexico State Police. Numerous victims of the incident, including two Gallup police officers, are receiving medical attention on the spot.
Who are all involved in this incident?
Down the procession route a few blocks, the driver was caught. Two additional people were in the automobile at the time of the event.
The Gallup Police Department and the New Mexico State Police are also looking into the scene, according to the McKinley County Sheriff’s Office.
