Who was Kristan Mouat?

Ms.Kristan Mouat has worked in the field of education for nearly 25 years, 20 of which she has spent at Logan Park. For many years, Ms. Mouat held high management positions at Logan Park High school, and throughout that period, the school benefited much from her excellent complementary skill sets.

In 2017, Mouat, who had previously worked as a member of the institution’s senior management team, was given the chance to succeed Peter Hills as the co-principal of the Logan Park High school.

Joint principalships had only been used at a small number of schools in the past, and Logan Park is currently the only one still in operation in New Zealand. Peter Hills and Mouat shared the role of co-principal at the school. Her students will always remember her as a warm, vivacious, loving, indispensable teacher and inclusive leader.
