Kamrin Ray, a 19-year-old student at Marquette University, was found dead in the campus living hall Cobeen Hall on Monday night.

“Those who knew Kamrin share that he was soft-spoken, attentive and thoughtful. He was interactive and engaged in his courses. In one of his classes, Kamrin was selected to be a project leader, entrusted to represent the team.”
The passing of student Kamrin Ray is being mourned by the Mount Carmel High School community.
Kamrin was described as “soft-spoken, attentive, thoughtful, and interactive in his classes,” according to Tim Hanley, the acting Keyes Dean of the College of Business Administration, in a message to students and employees on Tuesday. “Kamrin was chosen to be the project leader of his group and given the responsibility to lead and represent the team during his Business Day One lesson, according to one of his teachers. He was a great young guy who improved everyone around him.”

The student was identified as Kamrin Ray, a 19-year-old, by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office. According to an investigative report, his death was thought to have been caused by “natural causes.” He was found unconscious on the bed by his flatmate by emergency personnel, who later declared him dead.
According to the ME’s office, Ray had a history of diabetes, and insulin was discovered next to him. There were no drugs or drug-related items in the room.
