Family Tributes:
Mandy was an angel sent by God to illuminate the world for us with her adorably pure eyes. “When Mandy was questioned, “Who are you betting on? ” She’d respond, “Eddie D!” Mandy enjoyed chocolate chip cookies, country music, Cajun dancing, and bowling.
She might have eaten shrimp at every meal and throughout the day. Mandy cherished all things related to cake, including Halloween, Christmas, and Halloween. She adored Everybody Loves Raymond, Little House on the Prairie, Golden Girls, and Lucy.
All those who knew her and were fortunate enough to catch her grin will miss her. Everywhere she walks, she will have music thanks to the bells and rings on her toes. In addition to her parents, brother Loren, aunt Rose Ann, and their two lifelong friends Dot and Ray Sibille, Mandy Delahoussaye are also survived by her extended relatives. The Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Lafayette will have a memorial ceremony at 1 p.m. CT on Wednesday.

Ritchie Duplechien Mandy Delahoussaye cause of death. Mandy always had a way of putting me in a good mood no matter what was going on. Just looking at her angelic face and into those vibrant blue eyes and I melted like butter in the sun. My favorite interactions with Mandy started by prodding her to sing with me, Hey Good Looking by Hank Williams Sr. She would eventually start singing the end of a phrase here and there and we would all be grinning from ear to ear followed by an extra chorus or two just for the fun of it. Simple but unforgettable moments have been and will be with me through life. Love you Mandy Pandy… sweet as cotton candy. |
