Police involved Shooting took place in the Holly Springs town in Wake County, North Carolina, United States. On the Cobalt Creek way, in the town’s northern section, just before 10 o’clock, according to the police, a shooting took place.
Officers reported that they were summoned to the neighborhood at 9:33 p.m. Because a person was behaving “erratically,” verbally threatening locals, and obstructing the entrance to their driveway and garage.
They claimed that when they got there, the person was standing in the driveway of the residence.

The name of that individual, age, and gender have not been released yet. The investigation is still ongoing.
Why did the shooting take place?
Police arrived in front of a house on Cobalt Creek Way, north of downtown, right off Main Street following the call. Police said they received a call about someone acting abnormally, verbally threatening people, and obstructing the entrance to their garage and driveway around 9:30 last night.
The individual was still present in the resident’s driveway when the police arrived. At that point, according to police, the unidentified suspect allegedly attacked an officer with a knife, prompting at least one officer to fire at the assailant.
According to police, after being brought to the hospital, the suspect passed away. No officers were reported to have suffered significant injuries, however, one was transported to the hospital to be examined for possible wounds.
There is no longer a threat to the public, according to investigators who claimed there was just one suspect involved. The SBI is investigating the event following policy. Cobalt Creek Way remains an active scene.
