Tamil Nadu medical college seat matrix
Before getting into NEET 2020 Expected cut off, there are a total of 23 Government Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu as for 2019. Also IRT Perunthurai is a Semi Government College and no official announcement has been made for its conversion to Erode Government Medical College. So in total there are currently 23 Government Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Although the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has stated that at present 11 new Government Medical Colleges have been set up and 150 seats have been allotted in each of them, but so far only 6 have completed all the construction work and are eligible for admission.
In addition, NMC has given permission to add 50 new seats in Kanyakumari Government Medical College.
There are a total of 4300 medical seats.
- All India Quota (15%) reservation – 645,
- State Quota (85%) reservation – 3655.

State quota reservation in Tamil Nadu
A total of 3655 state quota seats will again be divided by the percentage specified for each community and admission process will take place.
And the petition for 7.5% medical reservation for government school students has not yet been signed by the governor Tamil Nadu. If he signs, 7.5% of seats from each community will be horizontally reserved and given to government school students.

All students up to 1113 in the ranking list will fill the OC category seats first. Seats in each category will then be allotted to the respective category students based on the rank of the merit list.
Seats in one category cannot be obtained by a student belonging to another category.

NEET 2020 Expected cut off mark for state government quota seats in Tamil Nadu is likely to increase from 60 to 80 marks this year.
