According to a report made to the Delhi Police, singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has received a death threat from mobster Goldy Brar.
“Entire Family Scared” Mr. Singh visited the headquarters of the Delhi Police today to speak with the Commissioner and raise a complaint.
Mr. Singh went to the Delhi Police headquarters today to visit the Commissioner and lodge a report after receiving the threat via voicemail.
“I am scared, my entire family is scared. Who isn’t scared of death? This is the first time I have got such a threat. I have got a lot of love from people,” Mr. Singh said after meeting police.
“My staff and I have got calls from international numbers as well as voice notes from someone claiming to be Goldy Brar. I have given the Commissioner all the evidence.”, he said.
“I have requested him to give me security and get the matter investigated I am scattered right now.”, he added.
“I was in America when my manager got threat calls in which death threats were given to me. I have given a complaint to the police commissioner and he said they will probe it.”
He also added, “I think the Special Cell will probe it. I have given all the info and evidence to them,” said Rapper-music composer Honey Singh.
Wanted fugitive:
On May 29, Sidhu Moose Wala of Punjab’s Mansa district was fatally shot while driving his SUV close to his hamlet of Moosa.
Later, Goldy Brar acknowledged in a Facebook post that the motive behind the murder was to get revenge on another gangster.
Lawrence Bishnoi, a gangster and the primary suspect in the Moose Wala slaying is closely associated with Goldy Brar, also known as Satinderjit Singh.
The Fugitive Apprehension Support Team of Interpol-Ottawa recently included Brar’s name on its list of the top 25 most wanted fugitives in Canada.
According to a public statement, Brar is thought to be in Canada and poses a threat to public safety. He also committed “very serious in nature” crimes in India, according to the statement. An investigation has been started by the police.
