Who is Carlos Ramirez?
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported that a guy wanted in connection with a shooting in Lee County that left a victim paralyzed was captured in DeFuniak Springs on Wednesday.
Members of the United States Marshals Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force located Carlos Ramirez, 19, at a residence on Van Buren Avenue.
Ramirez was sought by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated battery with a firearm, firing in public, and shooting from a moving vehicle after an incident in which the victim was allegedly shot from a moving vehicle, paralyzing him.
He was apprehended without a hitch and brought to the Walton County Jail. There is no current information regarding Ramirez’s reservation.
