Tracy Lystra has announced her son’s unexpected tragic demise news on her official FaceBook page, the statement reads,
I am sharing this with you all because I need your understanding and patience. My youngest son Dustin unexpectedly passed away last night. Shane and I are completely broken and don’t how we will be able to go on.
Dustin was the sweetest, and most kind person that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His smile could light up a room. He was blessed with a beautiful voice, and he shared his gift with many. I will always treasure the 16 years we had together. I don’t know when I’ll be back on the page, right now I am lost. Dustin was my best friend and right now, I see no way of going on. I love you Dustin forever and always.
Saving Huey Foundation
The Saving Huey Foundation is a small 501c3, non-profit organization located in Southern California. The organization was founded by Tracy Lystra and her family after a good Samaritan discovered Huey wandering the foothills of Moreno Valley on a cold, rainy night in 2014. This battered and bruised pup was believed to have been used as a bait dog. Much to everyone’s surprise, including the vet, Huey defied the odds and survived his injuries. Huey lived happily with the Lystra’s until his passing on May 31, 2017.

Apart from the confirmation of his death, the actual reason for Dustin’s death has not yet been made public, hence it is currently unknown what caused his death.
