Rose Duncan, a Member of Brighter futures health hub and a wonderful lady who helped support many people and communities across Glenrothes has passed away. Rose was a fantastic asset to the local community helping so many families, organizations, and local businesses.
She is a huge loss to the neighborhood and will be sorely missed by everyone. We send our deepest condolences to all who loved and adored her. Read ahead to know more about her and Rose Duncan cause of death.

The demise of Rose Duncan saddened the entire Glenrothes community. We were shocked to learn of Rose Duncan’s untimely passing since she was a great, altruistic, kind, vivacious, and spirited woman.

It is with great sadness that we heard the sad news that inspirational and selfless Rose Duncan sadly passed away peacefully in the early hours of this morning (5th June). Rose experienced a stroke a few weeks ago and fought right until this morning. She thought more of others and supported so many individuals and community organizations before and during Covid and she made life a better place for so many with her drive and her community spirit. She will be so missed by her friends and family but also her Rotarian friends whom she gave so much support and encouragement to, RIP Rose. |
Rose Duncan cause of death
Rose was a pillar of her community and did so much for so many people and truly saved and changed lives. As per the official reports, it was confirmed that Rose Duncan passed away peacefully in the early hours of this morning.
Also, it has come to light that Rose battled through a stroke a few weeks ago and was still going strong this morning.

Who was Rose Duncan?
Rose Duncan from San Antonio the manager of the Brighter Futures Health Hub Charity, is well-known in the area and is popular for her work with the most vulnerable members of the community.
She devotes a lot of her time to assisting Police Scotland, food banks, and numerous other nonprofit groups through detached youth work.

Brighter Futures Health is an SCIO Charity based in Glenrothes which is committed to the ethos and development of social prescribing community health & well-being, physical and mental health programs, and health & educational facilities.
They offer peripatetic pop-up health pods which offer moral & emotional support and early intervention services alongside ear health care, pulmonary rehab, and podiatry to the elderly and vulnerable.

Ambassador Award for Rose Duncan
Glenrothes Police gave Rose Duncan the Community Ambassador Award. Also, her job during the lockdown included offering companionship, internet access, access to services for the elderly, as well as a location for individuals who were having a hard time making ends meet to come for a hot meal.
He said: “It’s a privilege to present this award to formally recognize the time, commitment, and difference Rose has made to other people’s lives.
This is the second award that has been presented to a local person recognizing the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. It’s great to be able to recognize those partners and individuals who support policing and our wider community.”
