This is the office of Will County Coroner Laurie H. Summers reporting the death of Perla Andrade-Garcia a 28-year-old female from Chicago, who was pronounced deceased on Friday, June 23rd, 2023, at 7:00 am on I55 north bound 1/4 mile south of I355.
Ms. Andrade-Garcia was struck by a passing semi-truck while outside a vehicle she previously occupied. The Illinois State Police are investigating the incident.
An Autopsy was completed on June 23, 2023. The cause and manner of death are pending.
