The well-known musician, Charlie Brown, of St. Augustine, died last night on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Charlie has been playing the keyboard in downtown St. Augustine for decades. Brown, the downtown keyboardist and blues singer previously told First Coast News, On Your Side, “I just love the people” and “I don’t want no one to be sad.” 

Brown had been playing his keyboard for decades all over downtown Saint Augustine, especially on Saint George Street. People passing by frequently found themselves starting to dance.

Charlie Brown cause of death:

Charlie Brown died at the age of 86. His cause of death was not known yet. However, it was believed as a natural death.
