  1. While the death of Miles H. Wilson is tragic, the fact that hundreds of Education Works employees (that includes myself) haven’t been paid in more than 4 work week cycles. Yes I will speculate that his suicide was directly connected to the fact that he squandered funds given to Education Works for the children and employees pay. So while he’s being mourned countless others (including me) will be trying to figure out how we will feed our families without a month’s pay that was stolen from us.

    • Wow! What a selfish and ignorant individual you just showed yourself to be. True indeed, the organization is currently in a really bad place and staff haven’t been paid for two pay-periods, but there’s absolutely no evidence or indication that he “stole” from the people he cared for.

During Covid when hundreds of thousands were laid off with no pay, Miles Wilson made the decision to keep every single staff member employed with full pay and benefits while working from home. And this was before the government even considered PPP loans! This is just one example of numerous selfless moves he made to care for, support and build-up the staff of EW.

I know you’re hurt but please don’t be a hurt person hurting others.
May the Lord provide you with all your needs!!
