Antonie McNutt cause of death:
Antonie McNutt sadly passed away this week, leaving his family and friends in grief. His family was in complete shock at his sudden demise. Antonie McNutt cause of death was not known. According to the death statement shared by his wife, he died this week.
The statement reads,
“Rest in Heaven My King”,
“It is with great sadness that I officially announce that my king, my husband, my friend, the most excellent father to our 4 beautiful children, my coaching business partner, and co-founder of our 501c3 nonprofit, Journey For Freedom, passed away this week”, she said.
“Not only did he faithfully serve and love me as his wife along with our 4 children, with his whole heart, but he also shared his heart with the world through his Morning Moments with Coach Antoine McNutt and throughout his 20+ years serving ultra-at-risk youth in the streets of Chicago and all over the US. He was a builder of men. Antoine mentored both young and old men. He was an amazing encourager. Antoine often told children that with discipline and hard work, they could make it from nothing to something. He emphasized unlimited possibilities. Antoine believed at-risk children like him, can make it from nothing to the NFL as he did, or to the White House.”, she added.
“He was going to tell you the truth whether you liked it or not, but he was also the first to give you his strong shoulders to stand on if you really wanted help. We have been touched by the many calls, stories, and messages of condolence from people impacted by Antoine. There are not enough words to describe the level of grief our 4 children and I have been experiencing this week. We have just been privately praying for this not to be real or that God would just raise Antoine back up for us. But his passing is painfully a reality.”, she said.
“Nevertheless, we are choosing to stand, rest, and believe in God’s unlimited faithfulness. Many have inquired about how to support us in this unexpected time. A meal train and giving link has been set up by a group of loved ones for those seeking to give. https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/3658m1 Details for Celebration of Life services are forthcoming. – Love Kimberlyn”

Big Nutt was not only a great friend but along with Rameel Connor, was the older brother I never had. Two big-ass kids from the west side of Chicago made something of ourselves. We connected on so many levels and Nutt gave me much-needed motivation, life lessons, laughter, and spiritual guidance in my life. And bro gave me hella clothes since college lol. Big Nutt was a fashionista! The most fly, kindest, and most resilient big brother on the planet. Imma miss you, my brother. I love you.
