Chris Hannam cause of death:
Chris Hannam sadly passed away in an accident, when he was in tour to Spain. However, the circumstances surrounding his death were still not known.
The motorbike community has been shocked by Chris Hannam’s unexpected death. He was much more than just a rider or a prominent member of the industry. His presence at rallies, events, and gatherings was a source of joy and companionship.

Who was Chris Hannam?
Chris was a British racer who owned Cannon Engineering in the UK. He was also a consummate engineer and a dedicated racer.
He was undoubtedly the fastest big guy on the track, whether he was racing Funnybike, Super Twin, or Top Fuel. With a 6.98 at 193 mph in the Top Fuel class at the Prostar MRE Nationals in Gainesville in 2004, he broke the six-second barrier for the first time ever while riding a supercharged nitro Suzuki Motorcycle.
He has partnered up with famed bike maker Johnny Vickers for 2015. Chris has hired Hawaya Racing to construct a brand-new 196 ci Nitro injected Top Fuel Harley for him! Chris and Johnny have worked together for years, so Chris handed over his Pete Browne chassis to Johnny to finish this project.
The bike was equipped with their carbon fiber bodywork, which was previously used on the blown bike in the UK, as well as many other components that Cannon Racing has already installed. The Hayawa racing team tuned the bike for Chris before the Man Cup in Memphis and the finals in Valdosta.
Chris’s eagerness to coach and instruct newbies in the motorcycle industry was one of his best traits. He gladly shared his knowledge and experience, taking novices under his wing.
To ensure that the love of motorbikes would remain, he thought it was crucial to transmit the torch to the following riders.
