Most people know Brandon for his skills, generosity, and kind attitude. People grieving the loss of an incredible man of God. What happened to Brandon Holt?

Brandon Holt’s spouse Alissa Holt announced the demise news of her beloved man and lovable husband on her official Facebook page and the statement reads the following,

Friends and family, I’m brokenhearted as I type these words, but Jesus is still my peace. My sweet husband took his last breath here on Earth at 8 am. He’s now singing with Jesus and dancing without pain. My heart is broken and full of the love that Brandon Holt gave me and our daughters. We do not have any information concerning a service but we will keep everyone informed. Thank you for the love, prayers, support, and belief in the anointing and call that he had on his life. Please respect our privacy as the girls and I process the grief of losing the man we loved beyond words.

Brandon my love, you were the one my heart longed for. We took this world and lit it on fire for Jesus. I won’t stop and I know you are cheering me on from heaven.

Brandon Holt cause of death 

As per the official reports, it was confirmed that he passed away unexpectedly. As Alissa Holt and the girls travel through this path called life, we pray for them to find comfort and serenity. Brandon received his reward today for the many lives he reached and the souls he’s won.

Also, the day before Brandon’s demise Alissa opens up about his health update by posting the following statement:

Friends, I want to ask you to pray for the love of my life. We’ve gone from doing ministry this weekend to needing a miracle. As I sit in this hospital I’m reminded of every promise God has given us. The devil is a liar! Please respect our privacy during this time and try not to blow up mine and Brandon Holt phone. Continue to lift me and the girls up as you intercede for HEALING in my sweethearts body.

Apart from confirming his death, the actual cause of Brandon Holt’s death has not yet been made public, hence it is currently unknown what caused his death. Also, we should remember that Family privacy is more important at this difficult time. We’ll update this area as soon as we find out any additional details about the unfortunate incident that caused many people to sob.

Who was Brandon Holt?

Brandon Holt’s heart has been worshiped, starting at a very young age. His passion for music began before he even started school. When he was only 4 years old he started playing the drums at church, and from there, music became his life.

His father was the pastor of a small church in Georgia, and Brandon began leading worship there when he was only 14. He realized early on that God was going to allow him the opportunity to minister to people with unbelievable talent.

With this desire in his heart, he began expanding his gift over the next several years and has blended many of his musical influence’s styles into a unique sound.

Brandon has had the opportunity to minister on the same stages as many major Worship Leaders and Gospel artists such as David & Nicole Binion, Trent & Keisha Cory, LaRue Howard, Clint Brown, Patrick Dobson, Tye Tribett, Israel & New Breed, Tasha Cobbs, Mali Music, Steven Ward, Rory Comtois & Ricardo Sanchez, just to name a few.

When hearing Brandon, you immediately hear his gospel and black gospel roots. His true gifting is flowing in a prophetic style of worship that transcends stylistic, cultural, and generational boundaries. His goal is to awaken the church from spiritual complacency and bring a revival of pure, unadulterated worship.

Brandon truly believes that DAILY worship is a major building block to walking in covenant with God. He has been given the unique ability to lead people into God’s presence no matter their age, race, or denominational background.

He has been referred to as a “Worship Chameleon”, meaning that he can easily adapt to any surrounding as long as the main goal is to see God’s glory and enter into God’s presence through worship.

Throughout the years, Brandon has released six worship albums as a solo artist, and the pair released a live album in 2018. As worldwide travelers, worship leaders, speakers, songwriters, and authors, their story is one of healing, hope, and restoration.

With the 2020 release of Alissa’s new book titled #UNFILTERED, this couple’s heart is to teach people that they are not “dirty and distant” but are “clean and close” while loving them through the dirt so that they can find and embrace their destiny.

A musician and True worshipper Brandon Holt took his final breath on April 5, 2023. The entire music community and the people who admired him valued Holt highly because of his knowledge, kindness, and compassion towards his job and people. He was one of the greatest worshippers and his voice was like pure heaven on earth, if you’ve ever been in his presence you can attest to that.

Brandon Holt was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Brandon Holt is taking pride in the priceless gift of eternal life! He leaves behind the love of his life sweet Alissa Holt and two beautiful daughters that adored him! Funeral arrangements and services will be announced later by his family members and we will update the details soon.

So much loss in our world… This picture was actually taken on a cruise that I was on and a church had this man of God conducting worship on the ship. When I tell you we went UP… and I don’t do church on vacation, but the cruise was a holy encounter. A nice friendship was formed and we would check on each other occasionally. Sorry to hear of the transition of one of the most ANOINTED worshippers Brandon Holt Music. Pastor Sabrina Shaw and I are keeping his wife Alisa Holt and his two girls in prayer!
