On June 3, 2023, Kennedy was admitted to the hospital due to extremely low and unstable blood components. To precisely assess and diagnose him, he went through a procedure called a bone marrow aspiration on June 5.
He underwent a second test the next day to have his heart checked, the 2D-Echo. The results showed that his pericardium had accumulated liquid, and because pericardium is not inflatable, the heart is being impacted and could suddenly stop working. In order to insert a pericardial catheter, another procedure was performed on June 7.
On June 10, 2023, his bone marrow test results revealed that he had severe Acute Myeloid Leukemia, an extremely rare condition.
His haematologist doctor encouraged him to begin chemotherapy treatment as soon as possible because acute myeloid leukaemia is a severe, aggressive illness that is highly rare.
Being the family’s sole provider, he created a fundraising page to assist with the costs of his treatment.
Paul Cervantes also requested help for this difficult circumstance yesterday. Additionally, he stated in the note that he will always stand for Kennedy.
