What happened to Tommie Lee?

A 23-year-old Tommie Lee, a resident of Rochester died unexpectedly in an accident. Police reported that a worker for a company hired to seal a driveway on Chilli Avenue was killed by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, the 23-year-old guy was filling a bucket with sealant behind a trailer on the side of the road at 1:30 p.m. when a Jeep drove into the trailer.

The motorist was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital even though he was unharmed. The investigation is still ongoing.

Tommie Lee’s cause of death:

Tommie passed away in a deadly crash that happened on Chilli Avenue near Chestnut Road in Chilli. Kevin Corcoran conformed this sad news by posting a condolences on social media, saying,

Not sure really what to say but I’m truly heartbroken and numb since I heard the news. I’m heartbroken for my friend and neighbor Tom on the sudden and tragic passing of his son and my friend Tommie.

Tommie was a good kid, would come over to repair yet more things on the truck, have some driveway pops, and be an all-around ray of sunshine wherever he went. Lots of pizza and twisted teas with you and your friends. I will miss you dearly, and miss your messages with videos of your driveway-sealing skills. Fly high Tommie Lee! You’re one cool cat. God bless you and bless your family in this terrible time. Luv ya bro!

Tragic accident:

Police called it a “tragic accident” and stated there was no indication of intoxication. Lt. Dean Tuthill from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office stated,

“The message for drivers every day is you have to be cognizant of your surroundings and look ahead, don’t concentrate on things right in front of you”

Police are now investigating a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Chilli Avenue.
