Sergeant Kirby Overcash leaves behind a wife, two daughters, two grandchildren, a sister, and his mother.

Who was Sergeant Kirby Overcash?

Sergeant Overcash joined the Florida Highway Patrol in 1986 with the 75th Patrol Class in Tallahassee, Florida. After completing the FHP Academy, he was given the Troop C – Pasco County assignment. Later advanced to the rank of Sergeant, Sergeant Overcash was given Troop F – Naples as his duty location.

Overcash was posted to Pasco County’s Troop K – Suncoast Parkway. In 1986, Overcash joined the 75th Patrol Class in Tallahassee, where he started his FHP career. Then, after being appointed to the position of Sergeant and being posted to Troop F in Naples, he was given the assignment to Troop C in Pasco County.

Later, Sergeant Overcash rejoined Troop C in Pasco County and finished his service with Troop K in Suncoast Parkway.
