The well-known vocalist Scott Kirkhart is currently receiving hospice care after having an accident. The news of his tragic accident has saddened his family and admirers.
After being involved in a major car accident last night, his family requests prayers for his recovery and healing so he can get back on his feet and continue doing the amazing work he’s been doing. Here is what we know about the accident.

We regret to notify you that Scott was seriously injured in an automobile accident early this morning. Moreover, family members announced that he is in the hospital and at this moment this is the only update we will make out of respect for Tami, the kids, and mum and dad.

Family statement
Knowledge as of now through testing and scans, Scott has suffered a broken vertebra in his lower back (T12)&(L1) and is going to require surgery as immediately as possible to prevent further serious complications. Scott will be transported to Mercy-One in Des Moines for the neurology department to assess his injuries and provide the needed care.
