Jesse James, Nova Scotia man killed in single vehicle crash on Hwy. 101 in Plympton

One person was killed in a single-vehicle collision that happened near the Digby Country. Read on to learn more about the accident in detail.

Accident explained:

Following a single-vehicle collision in Digby County early on Saturday morning, one individual is reported dead by the Nova Scotia RCMP. 

Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia announced this sad news but the name of the victim was not mentioned in the post.

Later, according to the social media posts, the deceased was identified as Jesse James, a resident of Nova Scotia.

Digby RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a single-car crash on Highway 101 in Plympton on September 23 at 4:15 a.m.

Officers arrived on the scene and discovered a Subaru Legacy lying upside down in a ditch, completely engulfed in flames. 

How did Jesse James die?

Jesse James, a resident of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away unexpectedly in a vehicle accident that happened on September 23, 2023.

Emergency services were called to a report of a collision but they were unable to save James. The car’s driver, the only occupant, was discovered inside and was later declared dead.

For several hours, Highway 101 between French Road and North Range Cross Road was shut down as a collision analyst examined the scene. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service is assisting with the investigation.

The RCMP was unable to offer any additional information. After being shut down for several hours, the highway is open again.
