Everyone, I have just found out that my good friend Greg Cozzo aka The Big Red Hat has passed away… I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes as I just spoke to him just the other day.
We always found a way to hang out together other than just the Chili bowl. He brought smiles and laughter to all that were around him. The things he did with children, especially in hospitals, so that for a split moment they could experience some joy… This one hurts… R.I.P. brother and I’ll see ya on the flip side!!!

Greg Cozzo Greg Cozzo aka The Big Red Hat worked with me at the Temecula stations. Let me tell you, this guy had energy, had a genuine love to entertain the masses, and loved all on and off-road Motorsports and his Rams. Putting him on the jazz station was funny because he was a rocker at heart.
He took the gig and ran with it. He was on the Q as well, with race radio, covered for me when I had my accident.. and moved on to bigger and better with Lucas Oil and Mav. TV. You will be missed, my friend. I just spoke to you and missed cracking jokes with you. We have stories man.. lol so many I want to share.
I was just talking about you two nights ago with Ken. You rocked the house man, you helped out people in need, always put on a smile, and made people’s days. There is so much more to say I just can’t right now. Cheers amigo.
