Heartbreaking news today in the football world. Our hearts ache for the Acadiana Zydeco Spice Women’s Tackle Football and Houston Mambas in the loss of Chanell Lanette, a.k.a. Blasian Cee a vibrant and fearless talent. 

Following the sad news of young Football player Blasian Cee’s unfortunate death people from all across the community paid tributes to the departed soul.

Blasian Cee died: What happened to her?

The football community is in mourning after the loss of lovable and well-talented young player Blasian Cee who passed away unexpectedly at a young age. Chanell Lanette, a.k.a. Blasian Cee, Houston Mambas player died by suicide after a mental health battle.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of one of our football sisters, Blasian Cee. There are no words to express the heartbreak we are all feeling at this moment.

CeeJay came to us as a Rookie in our rebuild season in 2020. She was so eager & excited for the opportunity to play football, that she showed up over an hour early for tryouts.

She left a lasting impression on all those who came into contact with her & would be the first to say, “ Blood doesn’t make us family.” We do not know why things happen the way they do. What we can tell you is that we lost a great one today & she will be sadly missed. Our deepest condolences to the Lanette family.

Chanell Lanette a.k.a. Blasian Cee, Louisiana is not only a Football player but also a published author and personal trainer for many people. Blasian Cee, who played for the Acadiana Zydeco Spice Women’s Tackle Football, has a deep affection for the game that we all adore.

In their rebuilding season in 2020, CeeJay joined the Acadiana Zydeco Spice Women’s Tackle Football team as a rookie. She arrived at tryouts more than an hour early because she was so eager and excited about the chance to play football.

The team claimed, “We knew she was going to be a force to be reckoned with from the first day she laced up those cleats and stepped onto that field, and that she was!”

Her passion for the game and commitment to it was unrivaled. You couldn’t help but want to improve both on and off the pitch because of her infectious smile and energy.

She left a lasting impression on all those who came into contact with her & would be the first to say, “ Blood doesn’t make us family.”

Cause of death

As per the official reports, it was confirmed that she passed away today unexpectedly. Although official details have not yet been released, some reports claimed that she took her own life after a struggle with her mental health.

However, Blasian Cee’s family hasn’t yet disclosed the cause of death. Also, it is essential to await an official announcement before drawing conclusions. 

As soon as new details regarding Ceejay’s precise cause of death are available, we’ll update this post. The family’s privacy must also be protected, despite our best efforts to gather important data and quickly offer the most recent updates.
